Adjust a recipe for more or fewer servings
Enter the original and new serving counts to scale ingredient quantities, then print or download a checklist.

Paste the ingredients with each quantity at the start of its line, then enter the original and new serving counts. Only the written quantities are multiplied. Check cooking time, oven temperature, pan size and seasoning separately, especially for large batches. Lines without a clear quantity stay unchanged and are marked for review.

What this can and cannot do
Use quantities such as 1.5, 1/2, 1 1/2 or ½, followed by a space and the ingredient. Ranges such as 2-3 and instructions such as “Salt to taste” stay unchanged for you to check. The synthetic example includes both. Cups are not converted to weights, and quantities inside cooking instructions are not updated. Download a CSV text table for a spreadsheet, or print the checklist.
